A7 looks like a chord I could play (if I had a guitar) unlike that even F chord I could never play (even when I did have a guitar…). Great episode! And thanks for the tips on buying a used guitar. I’ll remember them one day when Michael wants to play guitar.

I lucked out with my used guitar. Good ep. So sad to hear this is the penultimate ep of the season.

@Emily, if it makes you feel any better, I’m still struggling with the f myself…but yeah, that A7, feels good, like an E minor, good. But when the time is right for the little one to start playing… Kage recommends starting with the strum stick…. check out the bonus material http://justaminuteguitarbreak.com/2010/02/25/what-the-is-that/.
@Maritza, what guitar do you have? where did you get it? and Don’t worry season 2 isn’t out of the question. (no promises, just saying its not off the table)

Okay for the little ones I must suggest the piano. The reason for the piano is simple, a child can make more pleasing sounds with a piano as opposed to a guitar. Young children may have some difficulty in actually playing a pleasing note with a guitar and thus may become discouraged quickly. At justaminuteguitarbreak.com we recommend piano in the 4-7 year range and guitar closer to the 9-10 year range.
